Himani & Phil’s Garden Marquee Wedding

When I met Himani and Phil earlier in the summer for their engagement shoot at Kensington Palace Gardens I knew their wedding was going to be special.  They’d told me that their wedding day was going to be a real family orientated affair and one of two weddings as they prepared to set-off to India for the second half of the celebrations.

Getting Ready & The Ceremony

As I mentioned, they’d told me their wedding day was family orientated.  This started with Himani getting ready along with her parents and bridesmaids at her parents home.  As you’ll see her smile is beaming. From the moment I arrived to moment I left she beamed from ear to ear.  Everyone did.  It was so enjoyable sharing this time with her family and friends.  The ceremony was held in Southend at the Holy Trinity Southchurch. – It was the same church where Phil’s parents and grandparents married so really held a special place in their hearts.  As the couple got into the amazing classic car to whisk them from the church to Phil’s parents home I couldn’t help but soak in the atmosphere.  Full of energy, love and laughter.

A Garden Marquee Wedding Reception

A few months of hard work by Phil’s parents in preparing their garden for a garden marquee wedding reception certainly paid off.  It looked brilliant!   It actually rivalled many “real life” wedding venues I’ve been too. The marquee provided by the wedding marquee company was perfectly situated furthermore the whole setup looked like the garden had been created for this one moment. Himani and Phil (with help from their family and friends) created a simply perfect oasis in which to celebrate their special day with their guests.

Thank You!

Thank you for letting me share in a simply wonderful day. I loved everything about it!  The happiness that radiated from everyone to the awesome band, sparkler tunnel and let’s not forget garage hour. I wish you the very best and hope you had an amazing time in India for the Indian wedding celebration. Here’s a few of my favourite images from the day.
